RE: Saddam’s Son a Sadist? - http://12.41.88.217/beta/article.asp?articleNumber=13815

I agree that Saddam's son is a bad person but is that front-page news for a gay and lesbian newspaper?

Many people know the role of "mainstream" media during the time of war is to paint the enemy in the worst possible light in order to give the government justification for its actions. Many stories of torture and atrocities are reported or fabricated by the Big 3 networks and CNN.

But when I read such stories in Express - "Florida's Leading Gay & Lesbian Newspaper" - I have to wonder what the connection is to the gay and lesbian community. Yes - gays and lesbians have opinions on the war as you reported in another story, but painting the enemy should be left to the likes of Sun-Sentinal and the networks.
