SoVo: AIDS Walk raises $1.1 million, less than expected
Ummm - didn't Pallotta and AIDS Ride get run out of town for having such an outrageous expense to income ratio? I believe I read a 35% expense was the highest a group should spend to put on a benefit event. To expect that revenue would rise in 2003 after falling flat for the last 3 years is totally unrealistic considering the economy is at its lowest point in 12 years.
I find major fault with this news story because it looks to be a breezy account of the AIDS Walk but buries the most important fact half-way down the page.
It looks like another example of Atlanta's LGBT community to afraid to criticize its own with AID Atlanta working hand-in-hand with MZA Events. AID Atlanta and MZA - meet Atlanta Pride!
